Kathleen Mitchell, age 75, Friday April 29, 2016. Born February 22, 1941 in Columbus, OH daughter of the late Dr. William F. and Dorothy Parker Mitchell. Graduate of Ohio State University. Retired teacher from the Columbus Public Schools after over 20 years of primary and secondary teaching of English, History and Reading. An artist specializing in water color and crafts. Survived by her son, William (Susan) Mitchell of Kettering; grandchildren, Ella, Molly and Frances; sister, Jeanie (Frank) Raidl; brother, David Mitchell; other relatives and friends. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME 403 E. Broad St. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Victory Church 1559 Roxbury Rd. Private interment later. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in her memory to the Children’s Defense Fund 395 E. Broad St. Suite 330 Columbus, OH 43215.
