I remember Bill McLoughlin with fondness and respect. He called on me as an optical company rep. when I was still building my optometry practice. He was more a consultant than a salesman, a real gentleman who gave good advice that one could trust, for he was a man of integrity. Rest in peace, Bill!

Jim and Margy,
I am so sorry for your loss. I already miss seeing all three of you at "your corner table". Your Dad was such a special man and you two are the most dedicated, loving, doting children. You were so caring of your Dad and of those who also lived there. We are all blessed to have known Bill AND you. He's with your Mom now...and probably sharing a dessert. Continued prayers and hugs, Beth

I had the privilege of knowing Bill when we volunteered together at the Saint Lawrence Haven. I now have the privilege of working at the Haven with his son Bill Jr., who is carrying on his father’s community service. Like father, like son… two men with hearts of gold and always willing to help a person in need. Will miss you, Bill Sr., but happy to have Bill Jr. close by as a reminder of your spirit and good works. Will never forget you.

James and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I really thought we'd be celebrating his 100th birthday in 3 years! All of the Sunday Chinese dinners we shared will be remembered fondly. The evening that James and I had dinner with our fathers was really special, with their discussion of World War II.

In 1979 Bill helped set up my first eyeglass display and loaning some equipment. That started the relationship with the best optical rep I ever knew. I have many fond memories of stories shared at our visits. It was never like work. Truly a life well lived. Thanks for the memories and God speed Bill. Dr David L Waite, optometrist
