My sincere sympathy, thoughts & prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time. I have this great image of your mom being greeted by her family & friends as she enters her Heavenly Home. Then a later vision of 4 friends sitting around a table playing cards, laughing, drinking & just catching up and enjoying each other. I take a closer look and I see it is Walt, Liz, Flo & Boney ~~ Friends Forever!

Dear Carol and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss; but what a wonderful legacy of a long life, well-lived, your Mother has left for all of you. I retired 6 years ago, so I haven't been in the restaurant for a long time. I loved seeing Tommy, John, and often times your Mom, who would be having lunch with friends. I always made a point to say hello to her, and she always remembered who I was.
I still have a place in Westerville, but spend most of my time in Florida and Colorado. It would be so good to hear from you...I have left my e-mail address.

Many prayers are with you from all the staff here at Wexner during this difficult time. Not often do we see such a loving devoted family. Your sacrifices have made an impression on all the unit nurses. I truly enjoyed chatting and interacting with all of you, and your mom was a joy to care for. I regret she could not return home as i know this was your ultimate goal. I hope you can find peace while your mother enters her eternal home. God Bless.

It was with great sadness that we read of Liz's passing. Liz was a cherished friend who always shared her optimistic outlooks with us. A dedicated Buckeyes fan, she was insistent on participating in every football pool -- and managed to win her share of the pots!
She was a loving mother and grandmother, a gracious hostess at Plank's, a devoted Christian, and one of the kindest individuals we've ever known. We were happy to have had her in our lives. Liz will be greatly missed by us and everyone else whose lives she touched.
Our thoughts and love are with each member of the Plank family in this time of sorrow and reflection.
