My sincere condolences to all of you and to your siblings Theresa and their families. I remember your mother well and was always in awe of her energy and cheerfulness. All of you take good care!

Some of my fondest memories growing up on Franklin Ave. in Columbus were walking over to the Youngs House just across the street. Between Mrs. Young and my Mother Margaret they managed to raise 20 children. I always seemed to have more fun at the Youngs house as there was always something going on. Bob and Jeanne and all of the family were an inspiration to me. Winners all, Competitive and Fair, Kind and Just. God Bless The Youngs.

I will miss my dear grandmother "Oma Young." She was a truly amazing woman! Her strength, resilience, and courage are qualities I always admired. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her loving family members as you gather this week to celebrate her life and gifts. May you all find comfort in knowing that she at peace and rest with her Lord and Savior. She was a gift from heaven brought here for almost 100 years to show us what love, friendship, goodness, and humbleness was all about. Goodness belongs to heaven, and I know she is watching us from there and shining her beautiful smile upon us.

I remember Mrs. Youngs spirit , love and positive attitude more than anything else. Having 10 children kept her very busy but she always had time for me. She always had time for everyone. She was selfless.
I called her about 10 years ago after not seeing or talking with her for decades. We picked right up just like old friends would! This was not unusual since she could meet a stranger and become their friend in minutes.
She had the gift of bringing out the very best in everyone.
Her legacy is the family left behind. My condolences to them .
