Dear Miesse Family,

I did not know David. However, at Purdue University we have been working with his father Dave. We are so saddened by the news. Please know that we have been praying for the entire family and that you continue to be in our thoughts. The comments speak so highly of David... there are special memories for sure. I pray you find peace. Betty

David had a way about him, that all who knew him will always remember and cherish. His memory will live on with his Lehigh circle of friends, as I know it will with countless others.

I was lucky enough to meet David in 2012 when I started working at Chase. I remember he was always willing to help me as the "newbie" and tried to include me as much as possible (including many Indian buffet lunch invites). I echo many of the other postings about his great personality and amazing attitude. It just shows how wonderful he treated everyone he met. I am really going to miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to David's family.

David was one of the Risk guys at work that would actually come visit the RSAM development team from time to time. He wasn't what you'd expect from a Risk guy. To the contrary, he enjoyed shooting our Nerf guns and joining us on a Starbucks run. I was really excited when he joined the RSAM team and had the pleasure of working more closely with him. I will certainly miss his contributions at work, but more importantly, I'll miss the humor he brought to our 9AM meetings. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with David's wife and the Miesse family. David was always so kind and fun-loving. I first met David on our first CESA soccer team that was coached by my father. We're so thankful to have known David as a friend and we know his memory will live on by all those fortunate enough to have known his kind soul. We will all miss David. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with David's wife and the Miesse family.
Sincerely,

David was not only a colleague but a friend that I turned to when I need to get things done, he always found time for me. We've worked some pretty late hours with the rest team, he brought his smile, kindness and never complained. My thoughts are with Victoria that I had the pleasure meeting and and his family. He will be missed. RIP David.

David was always a great guy to work with - he got things done and he made you laugh at the same time. A conversation with David almost always consisted of humor and laughter, a true gift that I am glad he shared with all of us. We will all miss David, but it will always be easy to smile when thinking of him.

David was one of my best employees. He started as just a young kid trying to learn the ropes. He developed into a strong manager in his own right. I was very proud of how David was maturing his talents. David was also a good friend. I credit him for cluing me in to 'exotic' bacon... who knew! Thanks David. You will be missed!

David was one of the nicest people and best boss I ever had. He certainly helped me in changing my life and I am a better person because I knew him. I can't imagine my life without having known him and it pains me to think he was like this with everyone he met and now he is gone, no longer to share that light with us.

I hope everyone he touched is able to remember this great man in their hearts and strive to be as warm, personable and friendly as he was in order that we may honor who he was.

My condolences to everyone, especially his family and wife.
