I was so surprised when my cousin called from Columbus to tell me about Dan. Dan and my Husband Jerry Bannister were great friends and worked together for many years on the Recycling and Litter Prevention Board. Dan spoke at Jerry's funeral in April of 201, here in Toledo. I am so sorry for your loss. Dan was a wonderful young man and liked by everyone. Sincerely, Sheri Bannister

Oh my goodness, Dan, from this life's perspective you are way too young to go! All of us feel the loss. My heart goes out to Katrina and family for the departing of a great loving buddy at St. Mary Magdalene, Bishop Ready, and beyond with the most hearty and quick laugh of any guy. You always brought such joy and fun wherever you have gone, and I am certain you are doing this in Heaven too! Lucky you to get to see the face of Jesus and be in HIs presence! Pray for us!

Danno was the best childhood friend anyone could ever ask for... I was so blessed to be one of his best friends growing up, I feel horrible we lost track of each other as time passed. I tell so many stories of St. Mary Magdalene, Bishop Ready, Scioto Country Club, working at Ohio State concessions, and all the great experiences I had growing up... Dan was there for all of them with me. He inspired me to become the best adult I could become. I am eternally grateful to him for so much. Bless you Danno, see you on the flip side.

Dan was one of the most joyful people I've ever had the chance to get to know. Every time that I ran into him at a conference my whole being felt more happy - his positivity was infectious. When I was first starting out, he was one of the first people to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I will truly miss Dan. My condolences to all his loved ones.
