William E. Alexander

William E. Alexander, age 74, passed away April 26, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on January 22, 1949 to the late William and Julia “Esther” Alexander.  Graduate of Columbus State Community College.  Member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union #402.  Employed at CVI, Lazarus and Speer Mechanical. Lifelong Ohio State fan and attended every bowl game from 1997-2020.  He attended the Indianapolis 500 for 32 years beginning in 1983.  He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice Sabia.  Survived by his significant other, Kay Karlquist; daughters, Pam (Rob Springer) Hall and Sarah Koon;  sons, Cody (Erin) and Donald (Gina) Karlquist; grandchildren, Ryan and Caleb Hall, Naomi, Emma and Sophia Karlquist and Giana, Anthony and Olivia Karlquist; brothers, Richard (Gerri), Glenn (Darcy) and John (Dianne) Alexander; sister, Alice Jane (Sal) Casas; nieces Angie Flint and Julie Wheeler; nephews, Kevin and Richard Sabia.  Friends may call Friday from 4-7 pm and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street where a Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 am.  Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
