Vincent Tantes passed away November 10, 2025 in Columbus, OH. He graduated from Bishop Watterson High school, Class of 1964. Member of Immaculate Conception Church. He is a Veteran of the United States Army. Retired from the United States Postal Services after serving more than 20 years. He is also a member of the Oldsmobile Club of America and USPS Mail Handlers UnionHe was an avid softball player in his earlier years, a lover of dogs and animals alike and a fan of the Eagles and Phillies. He was also a classic car enthusiast, enjoyer of coffee and a fan of musical artist Bruce Springsteen, The Eagles, and The Rolling Stones. Preceded in death by mother, Cleo Tantes (Evans), father, Joseph Tantes, sister, Kathy Tantes, brother, Paul Tantes, and niece, Melissa Waldon. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon Tantes (Longenbaker); sons, Nicholas and Kevin (Amanda) Tantes; grandchildren, Allison and Elliott Tantes; brother Andy Tantes; sister Gina Tantes. He is also survived by Brooke Tantes, Brandy Tantes, Stephen Tantes, and sister-in-law Desiree Tantes. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 E. North Broadway. Private burial at a later date.
