Thomas A. Coss, age 69, unexpectedly Thursday August 22, 2024. Graduate of St. Philip Grade School and Bishop Hartley High School (1973). Long time employee at Restaurant Equippers and recently NAPA Auto parts. Tom coached and refereed grade school and high school sports for over 30 years. During that time he touched and influenced many lives and was a role model to many. Tom is soon to be inducted in Bishop Hartley’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
Preceded in death by wife Elaine Bayly and parents Theodore and Delores Coss. Survived by son Bryan Coss and daughter Kristyn (Todd) Jacomet; grandchildren Gavin and Carter Coss; partner Susan Kennell; sisters–in-law Kathy (Denny) David and Mary Beth Johnson; brothers-in-law Philip Petrosky and Jim Franklin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 2777 E. Livingston Ave. Private burial later. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in Tom’s memory to Bishop Hartley’s Athletic Department.
