Theodore F. Igel

Theodore F. Igel, age 95, passed away on Friday September 30, 2022 at Country View of Sunbury. He was a lifetime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.  A retired mechanic from Hoosier Engineering and Clark Forklift, and a member of the Moose Club. 

Preceded in death by parents, Frederick and Henrietta (McCabe); wife, Leota, two sons, Teddy and Timmy, a daughter, Christina; and granddaughter, Rebecca. 

He is survived by three sons, Michael ( Carol), George (Sue) and Joseph (Roberta) Igel; daughter-in-law Sandy; grandchildren, Sharon, Shawn, Craig, Melissa, Christine, Jeff, Joe, Vincent, and Brandon;  sisters, Dorothy Crowder and Cecelia Patterson; many great and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Friends may call Tuesday, October 4 from 4-7 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 5, at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Church, 204 S. 5th Street.  Burial Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
