Terri Ann Couri, age 59, of Columbus, Ohio, went to the Lord on October 20th, 2023. Terri was born at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois on March 8th, 1964. Terri was always very outgoing and athletic, so naturally, she became captain of the drill team at Centerville High School. She also was a valued member of the Honor Society at Centerville High School as well. Her compassion and love for helping drove her to pursue a career in nursing. Terri went on to graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor's in the Science of Nursing. She had a successful career as a nurse for over 15 years and inspired two of her children to pursue the same dream. She dedicated her time and skills to various healthcare settings, including Nationwide Children's Hospital Emergency Room, home health care, and many more. She was often complimented on her exceptional work ethic at such a young age and held the position of charge nurse on multiple floors that she worked on. Terri was a generous, funny, kind, authentic, tenacious, brave, strong, and fearless individual who was unafraid to stand up for her beliefs. Her love of animals may be the only thing to rival her love of others; on countless occasions she nursed wounded animals back to health. It was her mission to make everyone around her feel included and loved, which she succeeded in greatly. In her free time, Terri enjoyed gardening, singing, creating artwork, making jewelry, spending time with her pets, dancing, and visiting festivals and craft shows. Her hobbies brought her great joy and fulfillment. Terri is survived by her loving husband, Dan Couri, her children, Johnathon, Joseph, and Katelyn Couri, her father, John Beck, her brother, Jeffery Beck, and her sister, Kellie Beck. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
