Stanley “Stan” Bradham, age 78, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio, following a courageous eight-year battle with cancer.
Stan was born on December 31, 1947, in Taft, California, and carried the values of hard work, faith, and family with him throughout his life. He was a devoted Christian whose life reflected a steady trust in God’s grace and a sincere love for the people around him. Those who knew Stan will remember him as faith-filled, funny, loyal, and deeply loving.
Stan proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. After his military service, he built a long and respected career in the automobile business, owning a car dealership for over 40 years. His work was more than a livelihood, it was a reflection of his determination, integrity, and gift for connecting with people from all walks of life. He earned the respect of customers, friends, and family through honesty, integrity, consistency, and the genuine way he treated others. Stan was refreshingly authentic and did things his way.
Above all else, Stan was a family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Teri Bradham, who stood faithfully by his side through every season of life. He leaves behind his sons, Corey (Christine) Bradham and Cole (Jessica) Bradham, and his daughters, Sharmin (Ray) and Stacy (Mike). He was a proud grandfather to ten cherished grandchildren and three beloved great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immeasurable joy to his life. He is also survived by his brother, Jimmy (Vicki), and his sister, Michele (Sam), along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply. His family was the center of his world, and he treasured every gathering, every conversation, and every shared meal. Nothing made him happier than being surrounded by the people he loved.
Stan embraced life wholeheartedly and found joy in its simple pleasures. He brought an infectious energy to every room he walked into and made an impact on everyone he met. He loved watching the Steelers, playing golf with his friends, appreciated a fine car, and was rarely seen without a glass of Chivas, raising his glass and toasting to a good time. Stan absolutely loved to dance with his beautiful wife, and they always captured everyone's attention on the dance floor. Among their favorite traditions were their frequent trips to Cameron's, where they would share a meal at the bar, talk, and laugh. He was the life of the party and had a gift for storytelling. The legendary “Stan stories” became a staple at gatherings, often leaving everyone laughing until they cried.
His life was grounded in faith, and that faith never wavered. In his final moments, Stan was surrounded by the people who loved him most. Family gathered closely around his bedside alongside a priest, united in prayer. Peacefully, and after the final prayer ended, Stan took his last breath surrounded by love, faith, and the presence of those dearest to him.
Stan’s loved ones take comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ and in the assurance that death is not the end for those who belong to the Lord. As Scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” Stan’s life reflected that same spirit of endurance, strength, and faithfulness.
He will be remembered not only for what he accomplished, but for who he was — a devoted husband, father, brother, veteran, businessman, and friend. He was a man who loved deeply, laughed often, worked hard, and lived gratefully. His family and friends will carry forward the lessons he taught by example: to keep the faith, stay loyal to the people you love, work hard, and enjoy every blessing life gives you.
Stan Bradham will be dearly missed, but his life leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, laughter, devotion, and Christian faith. Though hearts are heavy in his absence, his voice, stories, and unique spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew him.
And for those who knew him best, it is impossible to say goodbye without saying "YEOW" one more time.
May he rest in the peace of his Savior, surrounded forever by the joy and eternal life promised by God.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 20 from 4-7 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road.
