Ruth Steer Obituary

Ruth S. Steer passed from this life on March 17, 2021. She was born at Passaic General Hospital, Passaic, New Jersey to the late Edward Kranik and Susan Visbeck. She grew up in Clifton and Totowa Boro, New Jersey.

She and her husband Terry Steer and son Scott moved to Bexley, Ohio in 1984. Where she worked briefly at Capital University before working for the Defense Finance & Accounting Service at DSCC from which she retired in 2000.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Edward and Claude Kranik. She is survived by her brother Robert Kranik (Katrina) of Milford Pa; and her three children Deborah R. Krieg (Steven) of Raymond Ohio, Robert C. Socha (Stacy) of Holmdel, New Jersey and Scott C. Rupp of Portsmouth, Ohio. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren; Steven Krieg (Ashley) of Raymond Ohio, Bailey, Aaron, Lexi, Katie, and Erick Socha.

A Celebration of Life gathering is planned for the near future, date and time unknown.
