Ronald E. McGonigle, born December 3, 1964, passed into eternal life on October 27, 2023. Ron was a member of St. Patrick Church, Columbus, and was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 11207. Ron resided at The Ashford on Broad in Whitehall. Ron was born in Columbus, the son of Cyril E. McGonigle (2005) and Marilyn Guckiean McGonigle (2000), but spent much of his growing up years in Detroit. Besides his parents Ron was predeceased by his sister Sherlyn McGonigle and grandparents Cyril E. McGonigle and Eileen (Sego) McGonigle Reynolds. Ron is survived by his twin children: son Bradley Farley (IN) and daughter Anita Farley (SC), grandchildren Anthony, Matthew, and Grace’Lee Braisted. brother Garry McGonigle, twin sister Ronda McGonigle Charles (Rick), sisters Michelle McGonigle Bowman (Larry), Tina Delgado (Ralph), and Julie McGonigle. Ron is also survived by aunts Beulah McGonigle McCloud (Rodney), Evelyn McGonigle Powers (Ken), Patty McGonigle Kirk, and an uncle Thomas Steven McGonigle as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many cousins especially Beatrice Sego Wooten. Friends may call Wednesday November 8, 2023 from 4-6 pm at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday November 9, 2023 at St. Patrick Church, 280 N. Grant Ave. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery, Pataskala. Whenever Ron could attend Mass, he loved the choral music of St. Patrick’s choir, so in lieu of flowers please donate to the Music Program at St. Patrick Church, Columbus in Ron’s memory. Ron’s funeral Mass will be live streamed at https://www.stpatrickcolumbus.org/live-streaming. Special thanks to Diamond, Robin, and Travis at The Ashford On Broad for making Ron’s time there very enjoyable.
