Roberto Rodriguez, 50 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at his home with his wife, Maria, daughter Ashlee and son, Jonhy at his side. Roberto was born in Silao, Guanajuato Mexico on September 6, 1973, to the late Dionisio Rodriguez and Josefina Ramirez. Roberto married Maria Adriana Alcaraz Sanchez on January 13, 2001.
Roberto is survived by his wife, Maria Adriana Alcaraz Sanchez, daughter, Ashlee Monserra Rodriguez, son, Jonhy Rodriguez Alcaraz, son, Juleeo Rodriguez Alcaraz all of Columbus, Ohio, son, Roberto Rodriguez Jr. of Mexico, daughter, Jocelina Rodriguez of Chicago, Illinois, brother, Sergio Rodriguez, and sister, Sarah Rodriguez both of Mexico.
In addition to his father, Roberto was preceded in death by his sister, Graciela Rodriguez.
Roberto was graduated from the Universidad de Guanajuato in the Class of 1991 and Elgin Community College English as a Second Language – ABEC Program in 1999.
Roberto was employed by Allied Mineral Products (Refractory Solutions Worldwide) in Columbus, Ohio for 20 years of loyal service.
Roberto was devoted to his family, friends and co-workers. His warm, welcoming, inviting and gentle smile were outstanding earmarks of his contagious and magnetic personality.
The Visitation will take place from 11:00 A.M., to 11:45 A.M., with the funeral order-of-worship Service to follow on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 4661 Kenny Road, Columbus, Ohio, 43220 with Pastor Andy Mollett officiating. The Interment will take place following the funeral service at the Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43202. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
