Robert J. Sloan

Robert J. Sloan, age 47, died suddenly at his residence on the evening of Wednesday January 9, 2019.

Graduate of The Wellington School  and The Ohio State University with his B.A. and Masters degrees.  He was a fourth generation member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity (Hanover College).  He was employed as a Senior Logistical Analyst with Big Lots Corporate Headquarters. 

Robert is survived by his loving wife Tina Cegala and adored daughter Gianna Michelle Cegala Sloan; his canine daughter Pumpkin;  parents Richard and Diane Sloan; brother Richard Scott (Jayne)  Sloan; mother-in-law Esty Cegala; father-in-law Donald (Ann) Cegala; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Family will receive friends Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 KENNY RD.  A private funeral service will be at a later date.  In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute to Gianna’s college fund, payable to the Black Rock College Advantage 529, C/O Jason Codrea, 141 W. Shrock Rd., Westerville, OH 43081.
