Richard L Boerner , 84, left us on Friday December 12th, 2025 . He was born to us on July 19th, 1941 and was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Mary Kay, parents Albert and Minnie Boerner, and 8 brothers and sisters. Rich is survived by his children Rick, Chrissy, Scott, and Ronnie along with Tom Graham, Deanna Maynard, Debbie Boyer, numerous grandchildren and many nieces, and nephews. He was born in Columbus, OH, went to Central High after which he joined the Army and was part of the 101st Airborne. He was a black belt in karate, a golden gloves boxer, and a man who could straight up dance. He was a talented man who worked with his hands all of his life, with his favorite role working for The Ohio State University in areas such as boiler service and maintenance for Taylor Tower. He was a strong person to lean on for many, especially for Mary Kay to whom he was her sword and shield while she served as his heart and home. We will be having a showing and prayer service for friends and family at Egan Ryan Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec 20th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
