Richard Wright, age 95, died Jan. 3, 2021. He was born in Columbus Ohio on November 24, 1925. Not much is known of his early years. Richard spent much of his time in the Short North area of town. In 1997 Richard moved into a home on the east side of town. He continued his passion of exploring his community by foot. He loved to walk around his neighborhood stopping to enjoy coffee, doughnuts and other sweet treats.
In his later years, Richard settled down in a neighborhood on the north side of Columbus. He carried on with the things in life he enjoyed and was blessed with good health well into his senior years. Richard was the oldest person served by Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Richard wanted to do his life, his way, and he did.
