Phyllis Dolan, age 84, passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 7, 2024. She was preceded in death by her
husband, James Michael “Mike” Dolan, Jr.; a daughter, M. Michelle “Shelley” Dolan; a granddaughter,
Caitlin Dolan, a grandson, Cody Ludwig; and sons-in-law, Richard Kline and Scott Putterbaugh.
She is survived by two brothers, David Parker and Ron (Jody) Hall; a daughter, Lynn (Kent) Kinghorn; and four sons, Jay (Marty McKinney) Dolan, Kristopher (Joy) Dolan, Steve (Elba) Dolan
and Mark (Paula) Dolan; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Phyllis was a dedicated mother, wife, sister, artist, seamstress, and golfer. She is credited with having five holes-in one on the golf course. Phyllis worked many years at OSU where she retired from the Astronomy Department.
Friends may call on Saturday, April 20 from 11 am – 1 pm at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road, Columbus, where a service will begin at 1 p.m.
