PhyllIs L’Jean Bardon passed away on February 28th after a brief illness. Opened R&J Bardon Printing in 1978 and retired in 1990. Roger and Jean moved to Venice, FL and returned to Columbus in 2014. She was an avid golfer, she loved boating on Lake Erie and loved spending time with family and watching her grandchildren play sports. Preceded in death by her parents, Marguerite and Cecil Callahan and mother and father-in-law Bernard and Clara Bardon; great-grandson, Caysen Clime and her one sibling Kathleen Seggelke. Survived by daughters Chris (Les) Swearingen and Jan (Mark) Witchey; grandchildren, Shannon (Joe) McAninch, Shaun (Kelly) Swearingen, Shane (Jen) Swearingen, Erin (Jeff) Mitchell, Danielle (Joe) Clime; Cortney (Tom) Jones; great-grandchildren Trae and Brady McAninch, Damon, Weston, Audrey, Oakley and Sadie Swearingen, Chase, Kinsley and Kaylee Mitchell, Coby, Cavan, Callan Clime, Andrew & Harper Jones.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 4661 Kenny Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Church 1899 McCoy Road. Burial Resurrection Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Jean’s name to Ohio Health Hospice House and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
