It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patti Leopold, age 67, on May 28, 2024. Patti was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Born on October 12, 1956, Patti grew up in a loving family with five brothers and sisters. She met her husband, Paul, while attending college at Ashland University. After graduating, she worked in various design jobs before dedicating many years to the family business.
Patti's greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Paul, for 45 years. Together, they built a home filled with love and laughter. Patti was the proud mother of two children, Scott and Steve, who were the lights of her life. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Nora and Elsie, delighting in every moment spent with them and imparting her wisdom and love.
Patti loved the active pleasures in life: traveling, golfing, and scuba diving. She enjoyed exploring exotic locations with her husband and sons, often combining their passion for scuba diving with their love of adventure. Patti also treasured her time spent in Naples, FL, both on vacations and holidays, eventually retiring there with Paul.
Patti is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Scott (Brittani) and Steve (Christy); her grandchildren, Nora and Elsie; her sisters, Paula (Don) and Pam (Bill); her brothers, David (Kathy), Dale (Leslie), and Dan (Beth); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rita and Shep Pritchard.
Friends may call Saturday, June 15 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6899 Smoky Row Road where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. A reception will follow the services at the cemetery.
