Patricia (Pat) Strominger was born on January 28, 1936, in Lima, Ohio to John and Anna Wolock. She passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025. Pat lost her parents at a very young age, and she and her older brother, Jack, were raised by her maternal grandparents, Nellie and Ludwig Kramar, and her aunt, Frances (Teta) Kramar. Pat graduated high school in 1954 from St. Gerald Catholic Church in Lima, Ohio. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Daniel (Dan) Strominger in 1956, who sadly passed away on June 14, 2022. They moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1959, where they raised four sons. Pat lit up every room with her warmth, joy, and quick wit. She was full of love and had a special way of making each family member and friend feel deeply cared for. Pat enjoyed traveling with family and friends, especially to Las Vegas. She also loved music and attended dozens of concerts by her all-time favorite singer, Neil Diamond. She and her late husband Dan visited The Top Steak House in Bexley, Ohio every year on their anniversary. Pat and Dan loved to spend time with family and friends and hosted countless pool parties at their house. Every Christmas Eve for over 45 years, the entire Strominger family gathered at their house to share dinner and exchange presents, where Pat liked to joke around and start wrapping paper ball fights with the children. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and lovingly remembered in their hearts. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Wolock, and husband, Dan Strominger. She is survived by her brother, Jack Wolock; her four sons, Timothy (Janis), Terry (Leigh), Mark (Russel) and Brad; her seven grandchildren, Jill (Trevor), Andy (Ashley), Nick (Amanda), Paul (Mikha), Steven (Katherine), Edmund, and David; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Raleigh, and Naomi, with one more on the way; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Monday June 23, 2025, from 4:00-7:00pm at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10:30am at St. Catharine Catholic Church, 500 South Gould Road, Columbus, OH 43209. Interment will immediately follow the service at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, OH 43137.
