Patricia A. (Mulholand) Rath

On Monday, June 7, 2021, Patricia (Mulholand) Rath (known to many as Maugie) 94, passed away at The Woodlands of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Capt. Joe Rath (CPD) brothers, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law.  She is survived by her children Joe (Susie) Rath, Patty (David) Bussard, Laura Stampfle, Connie (Guy) Poliseno, Alice (Doug) Wigley and Dan(Kathie) Rath.  She was the proud “MAUGIE ” (grandmother) to 17 grandchildren: Jason, Neale, Angela, Dan, Sarah, Ben, Joey, Danielle, Kat, Matt, Doug, Brianne, Vinny, Dan, Liam, Hannah and Andy (and spouses) and 19 great-grandchildren: Mia, Allie, Carli, Annabel, Julia, Noah, Callie, CC, Ginger, Layla, Liam, Skylar, Flynn, Eli, Elliot, Bailey, Viviana, Josephine and Mackinley. Her sister Alice Shaw, brother Dick Mulholand, sister-in-law Corky Mulholand and many nieces and nephews in the Rath and Mulholand families also survive.   A long time (65+years) member of Holy Spirit Parish, Pat retired from the Ohio Treasurer of State’s office at the age of 80.  Friends may call Friday, June 11 from 4-7 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E Broad St. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church, 4383 E Broad St. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Maugie would truly appreciate donations to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Holy Spirit.  The family extends very special thanks to the wonderful staff at The Woodlands and VITAS for their love and care for Miss Pat / Auntie Patty.
