Patricia Jane (Moore) Moriarty

Patricia Jane (Moore) Moriarty, age 81, passed away September 12, 2025.  A proud graduate of Bishop Hartley High School in their second graduating class.  Patty worked for the City of Pickerington Tax Department but her most cherished role was raising her six children.  She valued her faith, family, and friends.  She was an avid bowler and euchre player and enjoyed taking long walks through Bexley. Patty always had a smile on her face and made everyone feel welcome! Former first, youngest lady of the Shamrock Club of Columbus.  Preceded in death by her husband, Michael Moriarty; parents, James and Jane Moore; brothers, Tom (Claire), John (Sabre) and Jerry Moore; survived by her children, Dennis (Michele) Moriarty; Tricia Moriarty, Michael (Catherine) Moriarty, Patrick (Jodie) Moriarty, Molly (Mark) McCanney and Brian Moriarty; Mimi to her grandchildren, Caitlin (Zak) Harrod, Patrick Moriarty, Colin Moriarty, Connor Moriarty, Ryan Moriarty, Sean Moriarty, Olivia Moriarty, Kevin Moriarty, Corey Moriarty, Mary Kate Moriarty, Bridget Moriarty, Alec McCanney, Mallory McCanney, Casey McCanney, Liam Moriarty, Addison Moriarty and Brennan Moriarty; great-grandchild, Ava Grace Harrod; sister, Mary Hinton; brothers, James (Betty) Moore and Bill (Ann) Moore; sisters-in-law, Patricia Hinton, Catherine Gallihue and Annie Brennan; brother-in-laws; Edward (Mary Kay) Moriarty and John Moriarty; many nieces, nephews,  cousins and friends.  Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street where a Prayer Service will begin at 6:45 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catharine Church, 500 South Gould Road.   Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
