Noreen (Derr) Sunday

Noreen Mary Derr Sunday was born Sept 29, 1951 in Dallas, Texas and passed away on August 3, 2024 at Embassy of Pickerington in Pickerington Ohio. Noreen was preceded in death by her parents Catherine McCarthy Derr and Charles Henry Derr, Sr. and her daughter, Jacklyn Marie Sunday.

She is survived by her four children, Angela Sunday Jewell (Curtis), Matthew Sunday and Michael Sunday; grandsons Isiah Sunday, Cameron and Colton Jewell; sisters Eileen Alice Derr and Kathleen Mary Derr Reed; brother Charles Henry Derr, Jr. (Kathy) and former husband, Nicholas George Sunday.

Noreen attended Bishop Hartley High School. Following graduation Noreen embarked on a varied professional career starting as a beautician. She graduated from OSU Newark Nursing School and had a decade long career in nursing.

Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Thursday August 8th at Egan Ryan Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held 12 p.m. Friday August 9th at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel in St. Joseph Cemetery 6440 S. High St. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in her memory to Dementia Foundation of America,
