Noel Zale Carter went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024.
Noel was born on the Army base at Fort Campbell, Kentucky on July 28th, 1957, to Winthrop Leon Carter and Doris Lorraine Skinner.
He earned his associate’s degree from Mount Wachusett’s in Gardner, Massachusetts. He was a member of the United States Army where he was a machinist. Noel was a disabled Veteran.
Noel loved to fish, and he loved to talk politics. He was a very happy and kind man. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, dad, grandpa and great grandpa.
Noel was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, his first wife Lisa Marie Guilmette Carter, his sons, Justin Neal Carter and Daniel Evan Carter.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Ann Rinehart-Carter, his daughters, Katie Ann Carter and Desiree Rose Carter.
His siblings, Wanda Carter, Mark and Rosanna Carter, Cynthia Carter, Marguerite and Philip Ellis, Rose-Marie and Carl Yaddow.
Also survived by Brian and Dena Rinehart, Doreen Rinehart, Emmy and Jimmy Hacker, Jon and Billie Spencer, Michael Counts, Charles and Anne Agin, Sandy Warren, Sue, Jay, Kurt, Kelly and Josh.
And a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services for Noel will be held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at Saint Cecilla’s Catholic Church, 434 Norton Road, Columbus, Ohio, where services will begin at 10 am. Interment at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery with Military Honors. Followed by a luncheon at Saint Cecilla’s.
If sending flowers, they are asked to be delivered to the Church on Tuesday morning or donations may be made to the Veteran’s Administration or The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
