Michaela Anne (Jennings) Towers passed suddenly Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Born in Columbus on October 11, 1946, the eldest of 10 children of Clark T. and Eileen (Westwater) Jennings, Mickie was a graduate of Bishop Hartley High School Class of 1964. She had a career of 30-plus years in insurance and customer service, retiring from Alliance Data. She was a voracious reader and before arthritis limited her, she created beautiful crocheted items. She loved gardening, cooking and her OSU Buckeyes. Predeceased by her parents and three brothers, Christopher, Joseph and Vincent Jennings; her daughter, Tara Towers; and the father of her children, Timothy E. Towers. Surviving are her sons in whom she had much pride, Dr. Thomas Towers of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Christopher Towers of Columbus; sisters Sheila Burns, Patricia Rathburn, Maureen Sullivan (all of Central Ohio) and Erin Tafoya (William) of Goodyear, AZ; brothers Brendan Jennings (Belva) of Birchwood, TN and Kevin Jennings of Sun City, AZ; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved four-legged pal, Murphy. Friends may call Tuesday 4-7 pm at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME 403 E. Broad St. Mass of Christian Burial to be held Wednesday 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church 280 N. Grant Ave. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery.
