Michael J. Skunda

Michael J. Skunda, age 71, Wednesday November 10, 2021.  Born March 4, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio.  Retired Respiratory Therapist from Mt. Carmel Home Care.  Mike was an active volunteer with the World Wide Humanitarian Aid, Meals on Wheels and Mohun Health Care Center.  He loved his family, his pets, traveling, cooking and gardening.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years Pat; sons Matthew (Hilary), Columbus, Ohio and Andrew Skunda, Tallahassee, Florida; sisters-in-law Barb Wiswell and Tina Webb; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Virginia Skunda, father and mother-in-law Lowell and Judy Steele, brother-in-law Michael Steele.  Friends may call Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 KENNY RD.  Face masks and Covid protocol will be required.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Newman Center, 64 W. Lane Ave.  Private burial Resurrection Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute in Mike’s memory to Mt. Carmel Hospice/Palliative Care, 1144 Dublin Rd. Cols. OH 43215 or the charity of their choice.  A special thanks to all of Mike’s caregivers for the tremendous care that they gave Mike.
