Michael C. McCandlish

Michael C. McCandlish, age 71, died January 24, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by family. Successful entrepreneur, accomplished sales professional, author, former police officer and mentor to many, Mike founded The McCandlish Group, a Sales Hiring Executive Search Firm.  In 2004 he wrote the “Sales Hiring Handbook” which has helped many sales leaders over the years. Mike loved spending time with his life partner, Kristy, and has many great memories at their lake house.  Mike will be greatly missed by his many friends and family. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary McCandlish; and sister, Cathy Fiebig.  Mike is survived by, Kristy Stacy; children Joseph McCandlish, Dr. Andrew (Gale) McCandlish, Lynda (Ben) Phlipot, and Kristin McCandlish; grandsons Max and Sam McCandlish; granddaughters Dylan and Emery Phlipot; sisters, Lavi Clausen and Brenda Scholl; aunt, Marilyn Friesland; and many cousins and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 19, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at Coaches Bar and Grill. Further details will be available at the following link.
