Michael J. Flaherty

Michael J. Flaherty (Irish) born on April 3, 1928 in Columbus, OH, passed away on July 25, 2018.  Son of the late Edmund & Margaret Flaherty. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Irene Amicon and their son, Michael; his brothers Ed and William; sisters JoAnn Cook, Mary Geffries, Eilene Parker & Peggy Call.    

Survived by his brother Jim Flaherty; sister-in-law Sister Rosina Amicon; daughter Erin Burkley (Doug); grandsons Justin, Beau (Chelsea), Tyler (Kaitlyn) & Jonathan; great-grandchildren Braxton and Vivienne.

Mike was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII who spent most of his time in Guam.

Friends may call Sunday, July 29 from 3-5p at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 KENNY RD.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10:30 am at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 S. High St. Burial to follow at  at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute to the Casey Memorial Fund at St. Charles High School, 2010 E. Broad St., Cols., OH 43209.
