Michael Edward Hill

Michael Edward Hill, 73, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on May, 4

Michael was born on October 2, 1949 to Joe and Clara in Lancaster, Ohio. He graduated from Bishop Watterson high school in 1967, and he went on to study and graduate from both Franklin and The Ohio State Universities 

Michael went on to teach Marketing Education at Columbus West High School, as well as coaching multiple sports, including being a longtime basketball coach at St. Charles High School

On June 1, 1973 Michael married Debbie (Bush) and went on to have 3 children, Jason (Heather), Michael Christopher (Morgan), and Stephen (Karli).  He also has 5 beautiful grandchildren, Olivia, Jason Parker, Carter, Jack, and Lois. 

Michael was preceded in death by father, Joe, mother, Clara and brother, Greg. He is survived by brothers Joe, Jeff, Pat, Tim and sisters Christine and Stephanie, and numerous nieces and nephews 

Calling hours will be held at EGAN-RYAN NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Road, on Sunday, May 7, 2–5pm. For Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 E. North Broadway on Tuesday May 9, 2023 at 11:00am.  Private burial at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Charity Newsies, an organization Michael was highly involved in.
