Maureen Claire (Killilea) Trainor, age 80, passed away suddenly December 14, 2021. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 27, 1941, to Thomas and Madeline (Cassady) Killilea. She was a long-time member of the Reynoldsburg Fraternal Order of Eagles 3261, where she greatly enjoyed playing Euchre. Her passion, however, was bingo. She was a twice-a-week player at the old Bishop Hartley bingo. Maureen really loved camping and traveling with family and friends. And she always put on the best Easter egg hunts for her grandchildren and her honorary grandchildren in the Hansen family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Gene Trainor; her siblings, Mary Margaret, Don, Tom, George, Terry, Jim, and Sharon; her father- and mother-in-law, Leonard and Matilda Trainor; her brothers-in-law, Marvin Romanoff, Tony Mayo, Robert (Evelyn), James (Winona), and William (Lois) Trainor; and sisters-in-law, Ella Mae (Ralph) Brush and Dorothy (Bob) Garrison.
She is survived by: her son, David (Mame) Trainor; her grandchildren, Molly (John) Hostetler, Gwenny, Will, and John Trainor; her great-grandchild, Baby H; her siblings, Kathleen Mayo, Eileen (Jerry) Dill, Jerry (Lou), Tim (Mary Ann), Mickey (Bobbi), Denny (Sheila), and John Killilea; her sisters-in-law, Pat and Carol Killilea; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 4-7 pm at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, Central Chapel, 403 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 10 am at Mother of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery.
