On Friday, May 1st, Maryanne Bennett entered into eternal life at the age of 61.
Maryanne was born on February 17th, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio, and was soon after adopted by Paul William and Paulette Ann (Omlor) Bennett. Residing in Columbus for the majority of her life, Maryanne attended the University of Dayton and later graduated from Ohio Dominican University. With a love for serving others, Maryanne dedicated most of her career to providing in-home health care to elderly and homebound individuals. Her patients would know her as being a true companion and loving supporter, often going above and beyond for their wellbeing.
Maryanne was a devout Catholic, advocate for the unborn, and held a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother. She loved the outdoors and traveling, and all who knew her would describe her as gregarious and possessing an infectious love for life.
Maryanne is survived by her daughter, Mia (Joe) Nedvidek, her grandchildren Daniel, Magda, Joy, Eleanor, and Henry Nedvidek; and her brother Michael J. Bennett. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Paulette.
Her friends and family will always remember her for her selfless nature and true joy, even in the midst of immense suffering. She leaves us all with a beautiful example of how to accept trials with perseverance and faith.
