Mary Alice Burns Obituary

Mary Alice Richter Burns, age 95, passed away May 21, 2018 at Arbors at Carol. She was born in Columbus on May 13, 1923 to the late J. Louis and Clara Richter. Graduated from St. Mary of the Springs. Member of St. Catharine Church and Columbus Country Club. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 59 years, Michael J. Burns, Sr. and son and daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Sandy Burns. She is survived by children, John A. (Lorrie) Burns, David L. (Linda) Burns and Lori (Paul) Painter; 6 grandchildren, Sarah and Will, Carrie, Tara, Emily and Elizabeth; 4 great-grandchildren, Ella, Clara, Katie and Jack; many nieces, nephews and friends. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Catharine Church, 500 South Gould Road, Columbus, Ohio 43209.
