Mark Frederick Higdon

Mark Frederick Higdon, 74, died suddenly on Sunday evening, February 16, 2025.  He was born in Covington, Kentucky, July 22, 1950, to the late Charles and Ruth Higdon.  He is preceded in death by his beloved nephew Gerald Higdon.  He is survived by Jan (Medovich) Higdon, his loving wife of over 53 years; son Justin (Katharine) Higdon of Park Ridge, Illinois; daughter Briana (Douglas) Kindberg of Columbus, Ohio; his “Magnificent Seven” grandchildren, Cecilia, Frederick, Josephine, Samuel, Charlotte, Lucia, and Gemma; mother-in-law Josephine Medovich; and many dear friends and relatives.  All who knew him will remember Mark as a talented singer and writer, convicted in his faith and ever devoted to his family.  Friends may call from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Friday, February 21, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 280 N. Grant Ave, Columbus OH, immediately preceding the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N. High St, Lewis Center OH.  In lieu of flowers, friends and family who wish may donate in his memory to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
