Marjorie E. Cantwell

Marjorie E. Cantwell, age 81, of Columbus, Ohio passed away January 21, 2021. She was born November 12, 1939 to the late Ralph and Helen (Eberts) Clouse of Somerset, Ohio. Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Donald E. Cantwell, brothers Barney Clouse, Len Clouse and Bob Clouse and sisters Nan Kelly and Dorothy Bever.

Marge leaves behind her children; daughters Amy (Rick) Ross and Megan Cantwell-Scarborough; son David (LeAnn) Cantwell; grandchildren, Emily and Dominic Ross, Celeste, Hanna, Parker, Chloe, Grace and Lainey Cantwell, Tate Scarborough and Maize Marie Cantwell. She is also survived by sister-in-law Sharon Clouse, many very dear nieces and nephews, a large extended family and friends.

Before moving to Columbus, Marge was a long time member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Bremen. She was devoted to the Blessed Mother and always kept that candle burning!

She was a fierce, proud mom and a caring and involved grandma who enthusiastically spent countless hours in gyms and at sports fields cheering on her family. Marge was at her happiest surrounded by a loud, boisterous group of family, pets and friends. Full of energy and happy to try new things, she sang, danced and quipped her way through life!

To keep everyone safe, a big, joyous celebration of her life will be held at a later date; there will be no calling hours or service at this time. Marge supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Please make a donation in her honor to either organization
