Margaret “Nancy” Breen Guzzo, age 92, passed away January 2, 2025. She was born on February 27, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Bill and Bess Breen. Nancy grew up in Clintonville and went to Immaculate Conception Grade School and St. Joseph Academy for High School, graduating in 1949. She married Dominic Guzzo on May 5, 1956. She was kind, patient, understanding and forgiving. She always thought the best of everyone. One of six siblings, she remained close to them all her life and looked forward to the Breen Family Reunions at Maumee Bay so they could all be together. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nancy suffered from both cancer and dementia and remained her sweet self throughout. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Mary Catherine (John) Wanner and Betty Cleary; brothers, Jack, Bill and Sam Breen. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Dominic Guzzo; children, Liz (Mark) Danley, Michael Guzzo, Mary Potter, Dominic Guzzo, Joe (Azita) Guzzo and Angie Guzzo; grandchildren, Mindy (Matt) Guinn, Chris Danley, Laura (Marcus) Croft, Brian (Alex) Danley, Kathleen (Josh) Frey, Patrick (Lupe) Danley and Shannon (Paul) Karshner; 15 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; sisters in law Loretta Breen and Pat Breen; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to caregivers, Katesha Weaver and Jen Glasscoe and Mount Carmel Hospice for all of their care and compassion. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road where a Rosary will begin at 4p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Church, 1899 McCoy Road. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
