Margaret “Peggie” Will Janotka, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2025 surrounded by close family in her beloved sunroom. Born December 11, 1952 in Upper Arlington, OH she spent the vast majority of her life in her cherished “zip” of 43221. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, Peter, and her parents Jake and Margaret Will. She was survived by her loving children: son Major Will Janotka, U.S. Army, and wife Jess, their children Wynn, Nash, and twins Willa and Kip, daughter Meghan Janotka Curran and husband Mike, their daughter Alice, devoted sister Judith Will Fleming and husband Terry, nephew Cory Fleming and wife Brooke, and their son Cooper, brothers Jake and Joe, other members of the Will family, and many caring and loyal friends, in particular Ron Guisinger and Bob Salmen. She was a proud Alumna of St. Agatha School, St. Joseph Academy, and The Ohio State University and passionately rooted for the latter among her other Buckeye Maniacs. A lifetime parishioner of Saint Agatha Church, she volunteered in numerous capacities over the years, most notably as the Prayer Line coordinator. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 3 at 11:00am at Saint Agatha Church, 1860 Northam Road, Father Mark Summers, Celebrant. Family will receive friends at 10:00am in the baptistery in the back of the church and, following the Mass, in the Monsignor Kennedy Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Agatha Church, Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, 702 E. Columbia Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45225, The Compassus Living Foundation, 6805 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, OH, 43016, or a charity of choice.
