Margaret Ann “Margie” Gatterdam, born January 05, 1932 and passed away peacefully with her family around her on October 10, 2021. Margie is preceded by her loving husband of 66 years James E., her parents Clemens and Margaret Frank Lang, and brothers Joseph, Clemens Jr., and William. Margie will always be remembered by her loving children James (Lisa), Kurt, Patricia (David Weisgerber, MD) and Richard (Kathy). Margie is also survived by “The Sunshine of My Life”, Her Grandchildren: Michael (Alison), Kate, Emily Gatterdam, Daniel, Alan and Emma Weisgerber; and many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Margie graduated from St. Mary’s High School and retired after working 22 years part time for Ronald Clowson, DDS. Margie is also a former 50 year member of the Columbus Maennerchor and Bexley Women’s Club. Long time member of St. Catharine and Christ the King Churches. The family would like to thank Capital City Hospice and the staff at Kensington Place. Friends may call Friday from 10-11 at St. Catharine Church, 500 South Gould Road where a Mass of Christian will begin at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
