Leona Jane (Hallstead) Kader

Leona Jane Kader age 93, passed away July 10, 2024 in Cocoa, Florida. Preceded in death by her parents, Harry Hallstead and Gertrude Weber Whitmore; husbands, Donald Merril, Joe Stella and Roy Kader; sons Kenneth and Kevin Merrill; sisters, Jane Whitmore, Florence Mead and Donna Curtis; brother Dennis Whitmore. She is survived by her grandson, Brandon Merrill; sisters, Esther Thome, Evelyn Hoops, Dale Ann Whitmore and Lugene Williams (Gary); a brother, Nelson “Hank” Whitmore (Jean); many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Sunday July 21st at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home 403 E. Broad St. where her funeral service will be held Noon Monday July 22nd. Private interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
