Leo “Lee” Thomas Zupan IV, age 44, resident of Worthington, OH, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2025, in Kamloops, Canada. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Worthington, OH. Most recently, he was a CDL truck driver and charter bus driver.
He is survived by his spouse, Uyen Le, his daughter, Sophia Zupan, age 8 months, and stepson, Hoang Ahn Pham, age 11, and his two grown sons, Jonah Jopling, and Ethan Denbow. He is also survived by his parents, Leo and Cheryl Zupan, and sisters, Raena Zupan, Catherine Zupan, and Audrey Zupan.
Lee’s greatest joy was his family, and he cherished every moment with his beloved wife and children. He was deeply knowledgeable about movies, music, and books, often sharing his passion with those around him. His adventurous spirit led him to travel widely, exploring many corners of the world. A gifted writer, he self-published two books along with numerous essays and short stories that reflected his creativity and insight. In recent years, his Catholic faith became especially important to him, grounding his life with meaning, peace, and hope.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Egan Ryan Funeral Home, 4661 Kenny Road, Columbus, OH 43220. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Worthington OH, followed by the burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, OH.
