Lenore Irwin Holmes

Lenore Irwin Holmes, age 93, passed away December 31, 2023.  Lenore was a 1948 graduate of St. Mary of the Springs Academy.  Lenore married William D. Holmes in 1952 and raised 5 children.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Irwin and Viola Stein Irwin; husband Bill Holmes; granddaughter, Regina Holmes Myers.  She is survived by her children, Kathy (David) Bright, Julie (Tom) Myers, Ellen (Jim) Baumbusch, Regina (Andy) Stevenson, Tim Holmes; grandchildren, Emily Bright, Kirk (Erin) Bright, Jennifer (Yamir) Rosa, Kimberly (Nate) Myers Anderson, Matthew (Rayna) Baumbusch, Megan (Chris) Guyer, Molly Stevenson, Amy Miller, Joseph (Sarah) Holmes and Katy (Nick) Cooper; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, James (Ruth) Irwin; many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 1559 Roxbury Road.  Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital and Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
