Kevin A. Coughlin

Kevin Albert Coughlin, age 65, died at his home in Gahanna, Ohio on August 31, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born August 18, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Thomas Leo and Mary Pauline (Albert) Coughlin.

He enjoyed reading biographies on all US Presidents and all topics of US / World history as well as listening to Classic Rock.  In his early years, Kevin enjoyed  spelunking in the caves of Southern Ohio.

Kevin is survived by his son, Benjamin J. (Gabby) Coughlin; a daughter, Leslie (Ryan) O’Reilly; five grandchildren, Victoria Coughlin, Camila Coughlin, Grady O’Reilly, Beau O’Reilly, and Teddy O'Reilly as well as his loving siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 East Broad Street, Columbus OH, 43215. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.

His family would like to send a warm and heartfelt thanks to his caring doctors and nurses at The James Cancer Hospital and his dedicated Hospice Care team at VITAS Healthcare.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kevin’s name to The James Cancer Hospital.
