Kelly Elizabeth (Hodos) Birnbrich passed from this earth on May 25, 2025, while at home. She was 55 years old. Cause of death was specifically related to a long bout of Chronic Lyme Disease and its ravaging symptoms. Kelly had also been diagnosed with Type One Diabetes 33 years ago (age 21). It is within this past year, 2024, the 33rd year, signifying Our Dear Lord's Death from this earth, that she stopped taking insulin. Miraculously, she lived over a year beyond her initial refusal to take the CONTROLLED, man-made/mRNA tainted insulin that she vehemently disbelieved in. As such, her life became one of a staunch Pro-Life role, in accordance with Our Lady of Guadalupe, Protrectress of the Unborn. Those that really knew her, also knew of her tremendous devotion to The Divine Mercy Image and Chaplet. Her signature everywhere was depicted by three crosses in a row; "Jesus, I Trust in YOU!", as she beat her breast in reverence of Him three times. Kelly attempted to surrender her entire LIFE to the Trinity, through the Most Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God. She embraced her Faith, Hope, and Love under the Traditional Latin Rite, the TRUE Church, founded upon Peter. Above all, Kelly was a miserable sinner! She asks that all prayers be directed to the poor souls in Purgatory. Pray for priests everywhere, and for ALL souls, for their constant conversion to Him; especially those most in need of Thy Mercy (notably, Kelly, herself). Kelly leaves behind her spouse of 31 years (1993), Thomas Karl Birnbrich; as well as her three daughters, Hannah Maria (Ed) Koehl, Lindsay Elizabeth Birnbrich, and Margaret Theresa Birnbrich. She is survived by her beloved brother, Keith Hodos, and a cherished Aunt, Harriett Demeretz. She leaves behind several treasured cousins and close friends, as well. Kelly was preceded in death by Francis Frederick and Elizabeth Jean Hodos, her most admirable and beloved parents. Kelly was born in Youngstown, OH, and grew up in Poland, OH. She attended The Ohio State University from 1987-1993, receiving her degree in Occupational Therapy; doing what she loved. She has resided in Columbus, OH, ever since. There will be no showing hours. Closed Casket. Reverend Canon David Silvey will preside over the Latin Rite Funeral Mass on Wednesday May 28, 2025, 10:00 am at St. Leo Oratory 221 Hanford St. followed by The Most Holy Rosary and recitation of The Divine Mercy Chaplet with Meditations by Kristen's Crosses. On Thursday May 29, her remains will be transported to Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio (Section 33, Lot 61, #7). Committal Service 11:00 am. She was honored to have her gravesite very close to her parents, and her fraternal grandparents, as well. Father Paul Marich, O.P, will be officiating the interment. Anyone can pay their last respects at Kelly's Funeral Mass at St. Leo's Oratory in Columbus, and/or at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown. Finally, Kelly has requested, that in lieu of flowers, if anyone so wishes, that they place a single rose, in Honor of Our Lady, Queen of Heaven and Earth, and Our Heavenly Mother, at any Marian Statue, while devoutly reciting the Hail Mary prayer. Any monetary donations may be made to: The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in c/o Kristine Fry, Administrative Assistant of The Marian Catechist Apostolate, Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe: P.O.
