Kaye Madonna Platte

Katrien Kaye Platte died unexpectedly on September 27, 2025.    Her parents were Polly Snider and Walter R. Platte.  Her siblings were Virginia Giberson (deceased), Mark Platte, Jude Platte, Nikki Henry, Kurt Platte, Shane Platte, Rex Platte and Heather Djafi.  She also had numerous relatives. 

Kaye graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 1981 and attended The Ohio State University.  Kaye in high school was a cheerleader and track star.  She holds forever the Reynoldsburg High School low hurdle record since they adopted the 100 meters distance for the future.  From the age of 9-51, Kaye was an excellent softball player.  Kaye was very vivacious and needed to know the name of everyone she met including the taxi cab driver she met in Europe. 

Kaye worked for Sherwin Williams in Reynoldsburg and Tucson, Arizona.  When she lived in Hilton Head, SC, she displayed her vivacious nature in the time share business. 

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
