Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Teale, age 79, of Westerville, Ohio passed away peacefully June 18, 2025, at Cotter House in Worthington, Ohio, surrounded by love, due to complications from Dementia. Kathy was born on April 28, 1946, in Butler, Pennsylvania to Peter and Elizabeth (Betty) Holot.
Kathy grew up in Butler, Pennsylvania, graduating from Butler High school in 1964. Kathy had a long career with Nationwide Insurance Company, beginning her career in Pennsylvania, relocating to Canton, Ohio, and ending her career in Columbus, Ohio. After retiring from Nationwide, Kathy pursued a career in realestate, working with DeLenaCiamacco and team, and HER in Westerville, Ohio.
Kathy enjoyed spending time traveling with her husband, Lew, exploring new places and taking in the great outdoors. She was an avid gardener and could be found tending her beautiful peonies and lilies in the spring and summer, making bouquets for friends and family to enjoy.
Kathy is survived by the love of her life Llewellyn “Lew” Teale, wonderful daughter Kathleen (Sam) Gregory and “bonus” daughter Heather (Chris) Timbrook, “bonus” son Scott (Jodi) Teale, beloved grandsons Eythan (Liz) Gregory, Joey Teale, Jacob Teale, Josh Teale, Christopher Lambermont, Cody Lambermont, Nicolas Timbrook, Noah Timbrook, Zachary Rodriguez, Jason Harter, granddaughter Courtney Lambermont, and brother Peter (Ann Marie) Holot. She is predeceased by sons Charles Lambermont, Michael Lambermont, grandsons Dominic Gregory, Michael Lambermont, sisters Patricia Noble, Mary Tishey, and niece Kim Noble.
Special thanks to Kathy’s care team at Cotter House who helped shepherd the family through these difficult months, providing care, comfort, and support.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 313 N. State St., Westerville, Ohio Saturday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m.. A private burial will be held at a later date.
