Katherine "Kay" E. (Selzer) Barrow

Katherine “Kay” E. (Selzer) Barrow, age 101, born November 8, 1924, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.  Preceded in death by husband, Edward D. Barrow, Sr. and children, Joseph, Charles and Mary (Mulroy) Barrow along with siblings, Frances, Lucille, Lawrence, John, Josephine, Robert and Helen. Survived by children, Edward, Gerard and Catherine (Smith) Barrrow; niece, Joan (Ducey) Sagle; grandchildren, Andrew, Gerard II, Cara Smith and Ian Smith; many nieces and nephews.  Graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Waterloo, Iowa.  Formerly employed by the Diocese of Columbus at St. Mary Magdalene School and Catholic Social Services (CSS) for many years.   Private burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to an Endowment Fund at Catholic Social Services (CSS), which was created in her honor in 2017.
