Katherine F. Elgin, age 86, Thursday December 24, 2020. Born March 9, 1934 in Columbus daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (Gallagher) Egan. Also preceded in death by her husband William Elgin; daughter Madeline Eyerman; grandson Matthew Gall and great-grandson Gracen Frazier; son-in-law Gary Buskirk. Survived by her children Mary (Paul) Sweeney, Connie Elgin, Tim Elgin, Julie Buskirk and Karl (Kerin) Elgin; son-in-law Tom Eyerman; grandchildren, Sarah (Jeremy) Frazier, Amanda (Scott) Perry, Justin Murnane, Jennie Eyerman, Sabrina (Brian) Detrick, Leah Gall, Amy Gall (fiance Jordon Moaoui), Emily Sweeney, Andrea Murnane, William Elgin and Peter Elgin; great grandchildren Luke Perry, Alec Detrick, Lilly Detrick, Cassie VonVille, Declan Frazier, Owen Wentworth, Kayleigh VonVille, Mya Frazier and Zayden Moaoui.; other relatives and friends. Katherine was blessed with a pretty Irish smile and beautiful blue eyes. Katherine was a Wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Katherine was a member of St Augustine Church for over 65 years. One of Katherine's many talents was her beautiful cake decorating. Due to Covid a private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine-Gabriel Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute in her memory to St. Augustine-Gabriel Church 1550 E. Hudson St. Columbus, OH 43211.
