Julia Brown (Albers) (86) of Columbus, Ohio died on May 12, 2021. She is preceded in death by parents Herbert and Marion Albers, sister Joan Cleary (Albers), brother Jim Albers, and her dearest and devoted friend Richard H. Eiselt.
Julia graduated from St. Mary of the Springs Academy and St. Mary of the Springs College, now known as Ohio Dominican University, with a B.S. major in Home Economics and a B.A. minor in Art/Music.
Julia owned a summer home at Hide-Away-Hills, Ohio for twenty-five years. She also owned and managed The Shumaker Lane Apartments for twenty years. Julia belonged to the Columbus Country Club since she was three years old. Julia was a volunteer at Mt. Carmel, East and West, and Children’s Hospital for two years.
Surviving her are her five children Kevin Brown (Melanie), Kimberlee Schlatter (Rob), Julie Brown, Jennifer Cohen (Jonathan), William Brown (Fran Friedlander), and her ten grandchildren Griffith Brown, Wynn Brown, Charlotte Brown, Lydia Schlatter, Julianna Schlatter, Eliana Cohen, Isaac Cohen, Avi Cohen, Sophie Brown, and Jesse Brown.
A private service will be held at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 East Broad Street, Columbus. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio.
