John Ross, III Obituary

John C. Ross, III, age 74, passed away May 30, 2022. He was born on November 28, 1947 to the late John and Lorraine Ross. Graduate of Rosary High School and The Ohio State University. Retired from the State of Ohio Adult Parole Authority. John was very well read, highly educated and a wonderful conversationalist. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Jr. and Kevin Patrick; close friend, Jeffrey J. Montgomery. Survived by his siblings, David F. (Michelina) Ross, Mary A. (Steve) Cash-Hunter, Ann S. (Larry) Cascioli, Stasia K. (Marisa “Reese”) Ross-Kenney, William G. (Denise) Ross; nieces and nephews, Gianluigi and Francesco Ross, Christopher Breitenbach and Jennifer Boggs, Andrea Cascioli-Grubbs and Daniel Cascioli; great-nieces and nephews; Cousin, Judith Howard Hise; special friends, Ruth Montgomery, Carrie Mazza, Donna Carstens and Donna Keen and many other friends. In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Should individuals wish to make a donation in John’s memory, they can donate to the American Cancer Society, Lion’s Club Eye Bank and the Franciscan Sisters of Stella Niagara.
